Throughout my childhood I had never imagined myself being a preacher or minister of the Gospel. My dream in life was to be a medical doctor or an engineer. I studied and worked hard in school in other to have good grades so I could be admitted into university and have the chance to fulfill my dream.
During my first year in the University I began to have encounters with God. These encounters happened through different evangelical meetings. In one of those meetings, the preacher proclaimed that Jesus was about to visit us and that if we will only cry out in desperation He was going to touch everyone present. I believed these words and began to cry out desperately for an encounter with His presence. At the end of the meeting, the Preacher began ministering to everyone present. As he stretched his hand towards me, I felt a strange force that came upon me. It felt like liquid fire, I had never experience such a thing throughout my Christian life. That encounter with the presence of God changed my Heart and ignited a deep hunger for God.
From that first encounter, I have had countless supernatural experiences with God. These experiences have helped me to discover God’s plan and purpose for my life. Every Encounter has revealed a different aspect of who God is and who He has called me to be. Now I can confidently say that I am called to be a Revivalist to carry the fire and presence of God to ends of the world. I help people understand their divine identity through the teaching of the word and ministry of the Spirit.
If you are confused about the next step to take in your life, I would encourage you to desire a genuine encounter with the presence of God. As you encounter Him, your troubles will vanish and you will be filled with Joy, Peace and Confidence to face your future.
